The general flowsheets for the sulfide concentrator are illustrated in Figure 17-1. The unit operations for the sulfide concentrator are summarized below:
Crushing and Stockpile: Primary gyratory crushing followed by discharge to a coarse ore stockpile.

Comminution: Primary grinding via a semi-autogenous grinding (SAG) mill and secondary grinding through a closed-circuit ball mill. In the Year 5 expansion, a pebble crushing circuit is added to transition to a SABC configuration.
Flotation: Bulk copper-molybdenum flotation followed by a dedicated copper and molybdenum separation stage to produce individual concentrates.
Concentrate Handling: Thickening, filtration, and loading of final copper and molybdenum concentrates for transport.
Tailings Management: Tailings thickening and disposal to the storage facility. The expansion phase includes the addition of tailings filtration and dry-stacking capabilities.
