Permitting
On November 10, 2023, the Company, through CMC, its wholly-owned subsidiary, submitted to the Yukon Environmental and Socio-Economic Assessment Board ("YESAB") Executive Committee a schedule for submission of the Environmental and Socio-economic Effects Statement ("ESE Statement") for the Casino Project, as prescribed by the Revised Environmental and Socio-economic Effects Statement Guidelines (the "Guidelines") received from YESAB on September 13, 2023.
In the schedule, the Company indicated that it plans to submit the ESE Statement in the second half of 2024. The ESE Statement forms the basis for the Company's assessment application for the Panel Review and includes all the material outlined in the Guidelines. In addition, the Company has been engaging and consulting with First Nations that may be impacted by the project.
