Sales of $259 million, up $6 million, or 2%;
Aerospace defense market revenue growth reflected increased sales of embedded computing equipment supporting various helicopter and international fighter jet programs, partially offset by the timing of production on unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) programs;
Growth in the ground defense market was primarily driven by increased sales of turret drive stabilization systems to various international customers, while sales of tactical communications equipment were essentially flat year-over-year;
Lower commercial aerospace market revenues reflected the timing of sales of avionics equipment to OEM customers; and
Adjusted operating income was $70 million, down 5% from the prior year, while Adjusted oper ating margin decreased 220 basis points to 27.0%, as favorable absorption on higher revenues was more than offset by unfavorable mix of products and higher investment in research and development.
