Provision for slow moving and obsolete inventory
Current report
Changes in customer demand, product technology, and our operating model have resulted in the past and may result in additional inventory obsolescence charges, which could adversely affect our financial results. Our business operates in a rapidly evolving industry characterized by technological advancements, changing customer requirements, and shifts in demand for electric vehicle charging equipment. These factors, together with changes in our product portfolio, manufacturing arrangements, and operating strategy, may affect the recoverability and carrying value of our inventory. As part of our ongoing operational transformation, including the transition to a contract manufacturing model and the rationalization of certain legacy products and inventory, we have evaluated the carrying value of our inventory and recorded additional inventory reserves during the third quarter of 2026. These charges and reserves primarily reflect inventory associated with legacy products, changing demand expectations, and our evolving manufacturing and product strategy.
Current report
Inventory valuation requires significant management judgment regarding future demand, expected product utilization, technological relevance, and estimated recoverable values. Actual outcomes may differ from these estimates. If demand for certain products is lower than anticipated, product specifications change, or additional inventory becomes obsolete or excessive based on our requirements, we may be required to recognize further inventory write-downs or record additional inventory reserves in future periods. Any such charges could adversely affect our reported gross profit, operating results, and financial condition, even if they do not result in an immediate cash outflow.

We have not yet achieved profitability and expect cash flows from operations to be volatile. While the BlinkForward Initiative substantially decreased our operating expenses and cash burn, we still need to generate substantial revenues in the near future to achieve profitability, even as our repeatable and recurring revenue from network and charging fees continues to grow. Historically, we have been able to raise funds to support our business operations, although there can be no assurance that we will be successful in raising significant additional funds in the future. We expect that our cash on hand and future cash flows from operations will fund our operations for at least 12 months after the issuance date of the financial statements included in this Quarterly Report.
