Frequent flyer program
The Company operates a frequent flyer program called “altitude”, that allows customers to accumulate points (“loyalty points”) redeemable for future purchases. The loyalty points provide a material right to customers and are accounted for as a separate performance obligation. The standalone selling price of the loyalty points awarded is recognized as a frequent flyer liability (deferred revenue) in the consolidated statement of financial position. The revenue is recognized when the loyalty points are redeemed.
