2. SEC Data Disclaimers

2.1 Form 13F Holdings

Our Holder IQ feature analyzes institutional holdings reported on SEC Form 13F. Important limitations:

• Form 13F reports describe quarter-end holdings and are generally due within 45 days after quarter-end. A filing may arrive earlier or late; reported holdings are not live positions and may have changed significantly.
• The $100 million filing threshold applies to a manager's aggregate holdings of Section 13(f) securities, not each position. The small-position exemption permits omission of a stock holding when it is both fewer than 10,000 shares and worth less than $200,000.
• Short equity positions and written options are not reported. Certain held put and call options are reportable. Form 13F does not provide a complete view of a manager's portfolio or net exposure.
• Past institutional ownership patterns do not predict future performance.

2.2 Insider Transactions (Forms 3, 4, 5)

Our insider signal analysis is based on SEC Forms 3, 4, and 5. Important considerations:

• Insider transactions may occur under 10b5-1 trading plans and may not reflect current sentiment.
• Transactions may be for diversification, tax planning, or personal reasons unrelated to company outlook.
• We attempt to detect trading plan activity, but this detection is not guaranteed to be accurate.
• Insider signals are one factor among many and should not be the sole basis for investment decisions.

3. Factor Model Limitations

Our factor analysis uses a proprietary model inspired by academic and commercial risk models. Important limitations:

• Factor exposures are estimates based on historical data and statistical methods. Actual exposures may differ.
• Historical factor returns do not guarantee future factor returns.
• Model assumptions may not hold during market stress, regime changes, or unusual conditions.
• Alpha estimates are derived from model residuals and may contain measurement error.

4. AI-Generated Content

Midas Edge uses AI (Google Gemini) to generate narrative summaries, portfolio commentary, and analytical insights. Important limitations:

• AI outputs may contain errors, hallucinations, or outdated information.
• AI-generated content is not reviewed by human analysts before display.
• AI may misinterpret data, draw incorrect conclusions, or miss important context.
• Always verify AI-generated insights against primary sources before acting.

Under current operator policy, runtime third-party LLM requests are disabled: narrative summaries, LP letters, and analytical commentary are produced by deterministic rule-based templates without sending portfolio data to external AI providers. Where AI-powered synthesis is enabled, the limitations above apply in full.

5. Data Accuracy

While we strive for accuracy, we cannot guarantee that all data is complete, accurate, or timely. Data sources include:

• Your linked brokerage accounts (via Plaid)
• SEC EDGAR filings
• Third-party market data providers (EODHD, Polygon)

Prices may be delayed. Corporate actions, splits, and dividends may not be immediately reflected. Always verify critical data with your brokerage before trading.
