Billing

Billing changes, refunds, and failed payments

Proration, refunds, cancellations, and failed-card recovery explained.

Quick actions

Jump straight to the place that usually fixes this.

Mid-cycle upgrades unlock immediately after Stripe confirms payment. The preview shows any prorated credit from your current plan, the amount due today, and the new recurring price.

Mid-cycle downgrades take effect at the next renewal unless Billing settings explicitly says otherwise. Voluntary downgrades do not refund unused time; your paid features remain available through the current paid period.

Cancellation stops renewal but does not end access immediately. Your current paid tier stays active until the paid-through date, then plan-gated features move to the Free tier.

Refund policy: first-time subscribers may request a refund within 14 days of the first charge. Billing errors are eligible for pro-rata correction; other refund requests are reviewed by support.

Failed payments enter a grace period. While email delivery is on, reminders are emailed immediately, on day 3, and on day 7; the Billing page always shows your grace-period end date. During grace, paid features remain available; if payment is not recovered by the Billing page's grace-period end date, the subscription is downgraded to Free.
