On March 12, 2026, as part of a planned succession process, Build-A-Bear Workshop, Inc. (the “Company”) announced that Sharon Price John will retire as its President and Chief Executive Officer following a transition period, and that the Company had appointed J. Christopher Hurt, 59, to become Chief Executive Officer following such transition period. Ms. John’s employment agreement with the Company will terminate at the time of her retirement on June 11, 2026, the date of the Company’s 2026
