RECENT CORPORATE HIGHLIGHTS
In June 2025, we announced FDA safety database recommendations and refined timeline for Biologics License Application ("BLA") submission to allow for the inclusion of the recommended safety data from adults and children with Friedreich’s Ataxia ("FA"). This comes following written responses from the FDA based on discussions under the START pilot program.
In July 2025, we announced the publication of two peer-reviewed articles highlighting nonclinical data on the therapeutic potential, pharmacology, and mechanism of action of FXN protein replacement therapy designed to address the underlying cause of FA. These data were included in the briefing package reviewed by the FDA in support of potentially using skin FXN concentrations as a reasonably likely surrogate endpoint for our registrational program seeking accelerated approval for nomlabofusp.
In July 2025, we closed an underwritten public offering of the sale of 21,562,500 shares of our common stock for net proceeds of approximately $65.0 million.
In September 2025, we announced positive 25 mg and 50 mg data from our ongoing long-term open label ("OL") study evaluating daily subcutaneous injections of nomlabofusp self-administered or administered by a caregiver in participants with FA. Trends towards improvement were observed in modified Friedreich Ataxia Rating Scale (mFARS), FARS-Activities of Daily Living (ADL), 9 Hole Peg Test (9-HPT), and Modified Fatigue Impact Scale (MFIS) at 1 year relative to baseline.
In February 2026, we announced the FDA granted Breakthrough Therapy Designation to nomlabofusp for the treatment of adults and children with FA.
In February 2026, after a recent START pilot program meeting with the FDA, we announced continued alignment with the FDA to consider the use of skin FXN as a novel surrogate endpoint reasonably likely to predict clinical benefit to support a planned BLA submission seeking accelerated approval. There was also agreement on the relevant clinical outcomes with consistent directional improvement in all four clinical outcomes assessed and the type of analyses required to support the exposure response relationships for the nomlabofusp program. The FDA stated that the adequacy of the safety database will be a matter of review at the time of BLA submission.
In February 2026, we closed an underwritten public offering of the sale of 23,000,000 shares of our common stock for net proceeds of approximately $107.6 million.
